Thank you for visiting Adult-Chat.co.uk. My name is David and I've run this site for around 5 years. In that time, nobody has ever been charged for using the site and apart from a brief time when I felt it was needed, nobody has been required to register in order to enter the chat room.

Please remember that you are a guest here. Whilst open to all, this is still a private site and there is no automatic right of entry.

If you behave like an adult, you'll enjoy the time you spend here and it's highly likely that you'll meet some nice, interesting people.

If you decide that it would be fun to be abusive, disruptive or test the patience of our moderators, you're likely to be kicked out and in certain cases, banned from the chat room altogether.

Theer is no appeal against a ban, since the moderators have my 100% backing in all of their decisions. It has to be this way in order to keep an orderly site.

For the avoidance of doubt, here is a list of the things that aren't generally tolerated (it is not exhaustive):

Advertising: This site is free, but that does NOT extend to advertising. Advertise on this site and you'll get banned. If you want to advertise, you can buy ad slots. Just email admin AT adult-chat.co.uk

Swearing: We're all adults here. People swear, get over it, but please don't say "cunt" as it upsets the ladies.

Abusive Behaviour: Will get you banned. All chat rooms have idiots, but we don't need them here, it's a real community that promotes real friendships.

Shouting: When you are in any chat room, WRITING IN CAPITALS is considered shouting, which in turn, is considered rude. Don't shout please, or our mods will warn you and then ban you if you continue - and that's the last thing we want to do.

Testing this rule will get you banned - Even If You Capitalise Each Word In A Sentence Like This.

Occasionally, moderators will request that no capitals be used in the chat room at all - this is usually when they are purging the room of idiots. It's necessary, sorry.

Moderation: Occasionally we will moderate the chat room to rid the site of disruptive morons who have nothing better to do than spoil the fun of others.

On such occasions, you might see a number of people simultaneously kicked from the chat room. If you've behaved, you have nothing to worry about.

Appeals Against Bans: Misbehave in here and you're out for at least 30 days. There are no second chances. Adult-Chat.co.uk's moderators are all long-standing chatters who have helped build the site into one of the friendliest on the net. Moderators therefore have 100% control and their decisions cannot be overridden.

Dirty Talk, Secret liaisons, Politics, Religion etc: All allowed - talk about anything legal.

Children: A strict no-no. If you suspect or know that a person is under 18, please let a moderator know and they will be banned.

There is to be no discussion about children, in any context whatsoever and our moderators strictly enforce this rule above all others.

Nick Names: We do not allow any nick names in the chat room that relate to the words (or associated words) Mom, Dad, Uncle, Auntie and other family oriented euphanisms. We take the protection of children VERY seriously. If you're in to that kind of thing, please leave this site now as you are not welcome here.

Users with administrative privileges can trace IP addresses. These addresses can be banned indefinitely. In extreme cases, the IP address can be traced to an individual PC. In very extreme cases, we can crawl down your phone line and give you a good old fashioned slapping. (ok, not really, but you get the point, behave please).

We pride ourselves on keeping this chat room free for polite and considerate adult chatters. Please help us keep this place fun, friendly and free. We'd prefer to have fewer polite chatters than many abusive and disruptive ones!

Being Harrassed In Chat? Some people will pester ladies in chat, usually via private messaging. If this happens to you, please inform a moderator.

Please use the chat room controls to place annoying indivduals on ignore. Simply right mouse-click the offending person's nick name and select "ignore".
